This textile horse is covered with
vintage silks which have been cut
to shapes to accentuate the
equine form and then sewn onto a
covered armature.
The Polo connotations come from
the closely cropped ‘zip’ mane, the tail bound up in polo pony fashion and also the hole patterns
on the fabrics alluding to a certain mint sweet.
