Tree Lace Vessels
In these vessels Kate has collaborated with Beth Walsh to make ceramic vessels about the beauty of cascading trees. Handmade bobbin lace captured the sinuous fall of the branches, it was impressed into damp clay, then removed before firing.
Each vessel was shaped to echo the form of the lace.
NB These vessels are porous and will not hold water.
