Jennifer is a stone sculptor who creates work from her workshop on the edge of the North York Moors. She purchased her first stone working tools after a chance encounter with masons dressing wall stones. After watching the quarrymen work with such mesmerising, neat-handed skill, she was quick to fall in love with sculpting herself. Jennifer works primarily in sandstone, but also creates works using limestone, marble and soapstone.
Her work is centred around her love for the natural world, where she aims to capture a creature's essence of simple shape and form. We think her work will make the perfect addition to Pinkfoot Gallery. You can find her work in the gallery from February 2023.
